Navigation and timing are critical to the world we all inhabit. We believe that the work of the wider navigation community enables societal benefit including support to national grand challenges and also the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. To achieve this requires collaboration and understanding across science, technology and practice.
Navigation 2021 is about much more than technology innovation, it will also showcase science and research from across the wider community, including animal navigation, cognition and human factors. We encourage participation from across Government, Academia, Industry and all sectors.
There are many uncertainties in the world at the moment but Navigation 2021 is not one of them.
Navigation 2021 will bring together experts from industry, research institutions, government agencies and investors whose primary goal is to work together for a more navigable world.
In November 2021, Navigation 2021 will unite two established conferences. The International Navigation Conference (INC) and the European Navigation Conference (ENC) will come together as one truly global showcase.
Navigation 2021 will take place as a hybrid event. The full conference will take place online on our highly interactive platform, we have also been able to include an in-person element of the conference with the primary objective of enjoying the keynotes, networking and exhibition for those who are in a position to do so. The majority of session talks will be online-only, with the option of watching back talks on the platform at a later date. Learn more about our chosen platform in the ‘About’ section.
The in-person element of Navigation 2021 will take place in the EICC, Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
